Vermont Career & Technical Student Organizations

Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) provide opportunities for students to develop and enhance the skills they will need to be successful in their future career and leadership endeavors. Organized educational activities promoting personal leadership and career enhancement opportunities are integrated into technical education programs.

  • FFA is a youth organization that is a part of agricultural education programs at middle and high schools. Founded as the Future Farmers of America, the name was changed in 1988 to reflect the growing diversity of agriculture.   • HOSA is HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE.
